It’s a common misconception that PayPal payments are only possible with a PayPal account. The truth is: you don’t need a PayPal account—although we strongly recommend creating one.

Paying with PayPal in an online shop is currently one of the safest payment methods on the internet. You are redirected via a secure connection to the PayPal login page, where you simply enter your email address and password. You can then review your order once more before confirming. The advantage is that the money is transferred to the seller immediately, and you receive a payment confirmation by email right away. This means your order can, in theory, be shipped immediately. To make that possible, PayPal essentially advances the amount first, and then debits it from your account a few days later. So make sure you always have sufficient funds in your account.
