The SMA Backup 3P Kit provides a powerful and automatic reliable backup power solution that ensures full supply to a residential home on all 3 phases in the event of a grid failure, thanks to phase coupling. It can be easily installed in the existing meter cabinet. 

The SMA Backup 3P Kit is only compatible with the Sunny Boy Smart Energy and may only be installed in a TN-C-S grid. For use in Germany only.

The kit includes all required components for the setup, protection and control of a backup power circuit. In combination with the Sunny Boy Smart Energy hybrid inverter, it forms a powerful backup power system for single-family homes, commercial units or sensitive applications.
