The SMA backup solution for the Sunny Tripower Hybrid X is an automatic transfer device between grid-connected and off-grid operation for 3-phase households. In the event of a grid failure, the system safely disconnects the building from the public grid and supplies all connected loads with up to 63 A continuous current – fully automatically and without any loss of comfort. In grid operation, the solution has zero self-consumption and therefore integrates energy-efficiently into the overall system. Available in four versions – as a 3-pole or 4-pole variant, each as a compact kit for DIN rail mounting or as a separate box for wall mounting – the backup solution can be flexibly integrated into both new installations and existing systems.
