Sungrow PowerKeeper STC12.5 - 12.5 kWh Battery Module
⚠ Note: Additional corresponding PowerKeeper accessories (master/slave) as well as the compatible SG hybrid inverter (SH125 CX) are required for operation.
The Sungrow PowerKeeper battery module STC12.5 is the scalable storage unit of the modular PowerKeeper C&I system for commercial and industrial applications. With 12.48 kWh of usable capacity per module, the system enables flexible storage planning from 50 kWh to 250 kWh per system. With the optional combiner box, even up to 1,000 kWh can be realized (from Q3/2026).
The modular pack design allows precise capacity adjustment to actual energy demand and prevents unnecessary oversizing. This makes the system ideal for applications such as self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, load management, backup solutions, dynamic electricity tariffs, as well as PV + ESS + EV charging applications. Thanks to the wireless stacking design and preconfigured architecture, installation effort is significantly reduced. The individual battery packs weigh less than 100 kg and can be expanded flexibly.
The PowerKeeper was specifically developed for use with the Sungrow SH125CX hybrid inverter and supports grid-connected as well as grid-forming applications, including uninterruptible backup functionality with a switchover time of <10 ms.
Currently, a maximum of 2 hybrid inverters can be connected in parallel, enabling backup systems of up to a total of 250 kW with up to 500 kWh, i.e. up to 2 hours of backup time, plus PV.

The consumer is legally obliged to return used batteries and solar storage systems, regardless of battery type, manufacturer or seller. Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste! We are obliged to accept used batteries free of charge. After use, the consumer may return/send back batteries to our shipping warehouse; see legal notice. However, reimbursement of return shipping costs is not possible. As an end consumer, you can usually also return batteries in normal household quantities to the collection points set up for this purpose by public waste disposal authorities (e.g. municipal recycling centres). Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. The crossed-out wheeled bin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste. |
